POWER BLUE® SCALE OFF is a revolutionary new product to remove Calcium Carbonate Scale and efflorescence from swimming pool tile, glass block, vinyl liners, stucco, and most stone without damaging surfaces or grout, plaster, or people, when used as directed. POWER BLUE® SCALE OFF is ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY, non-Corrosive on most surfaces, contains No Phosphates, No VOCS, No HAS MAT, classified as a mild skin irritant, and is safe to ship UPS or other ground transportation. Designed specifically to solve one of the worst swimming pool area maintenance problems, POWER BLUE® SCALE OFF is effective in removing approximately 2-4 mils of scale per application. On the initial application, it may be most effective to remove thick build up using a commercial paint scraper on hard solid surfaces. APPLICATION: Spray apply PBSO to dry tile, glass block, vinyl or stucco using the quart trigger spray bottle or pump up sprayer. Use full strength, adjust the spray nozzle to stream (do not mist, or aerosolize) spray directly onto the scale, and watch this amazing product go to work immediately dissolving the scale. Brush and spray, repeat until the scale is gone, then rinse. To slow the return of scale build up apply POWER BLUE® HIGH GLOSS ULTRA UV PROTECTANT to the cleaned and dry tile, vinyl, or glass block, and wipe dry. Subsequent Applications: At first sign of reappearance of scale or efflorescence spray, apply PBSO again, for easy removal. NOTE: The first time you use POWER BLUE® SCALE OFF apply to a small test spot in an inconspicuous area to insure no adverse effects occur to the surface being cleaned. Do not use on aluminum.
