•Extending the Life of Your Fiberglass or Plastic Pool Filter

Wash the surface to remove surface oxidization, dirt and grit. Use POWER BLUE ® Water line & tile cleaner spray on, brush rinse and let dry then. Spray apply POWER BLUE ® High Gloss ULTRA UV PROTECTANTto the filter Tank, PVC piping, and Filter Valve, wipe dry with a clean cloth. If the surfaces look flat after drying, reapply.

•Fiberglass Gel Coat

Use POWER BLUE ® High Gloss ULTRA UV PROTECTANT to bring back a like-original color and gloss to aged, faded, and oxidized gel coat fiberglass:

For the First Application: wash the surface to remove surface oxidization, dirt and grit. Use POWER BLUE ® Water line & tile cleaner spray on, brush rinse and let dry then.

Spray POWER BLUE ® High Gloss ULTRA UV PROTECTANT onto the surface liberally (do a test area first; choose the cool part of the day, hot surfaces inhibit absorption), thoroughly saturate sponge or cloth and rub into the area, be sure the gel coat surface is thoroughly saturated, rub in then WIPE DRY. If any unabsorbed PBHGUVP remains dampen a towel in water, and wipe down the gel coat with the damp towel, and then a clean dry towel.  Old towels are excellent for this purpose, but any large, absorbent, non-abrasive clean material can be used. Afterward, launder and dry the towels for reuse.

The entire surface will look like new, to be complete all unabsorbed protectant must be wiped or rinsed away. 

Subsequent Applications
To prevent the reoccurrence of both UV fading and oxidation, periodically reapply POWER BLUE ® High Gloss ULTRA UV PROTECTANT (spray on/wipe completely dry).  This will provide continuing UV protection and keep the gel coat surface like new.

After removing scale and efflorescence with POWER BLUE ® NON- Acid Scale Remover, rinse and allow tile or vinyl to dry and apply POWER BLUE ® High Gloss ULTRA UV PROTECTANT spray on and wipe completely dry (not effective below water). Reapply after each cleaning.

The exposed top foot of a swimming pool vinyl liner gets frequent exposure to UV light, usually on the north and east sides. This will cause the liner to fade and become brittle and crack - and replacing the liner is extremely expensive.

Constant exposure to chlorine, chemicals, and the sun's UV rays slowly fade and break down vinyl. Clean the water line area with POWER BLUE ® Water line & tile cleaner, rinse using the pools water, and spray apply POWER BLUE ® High Gloss ULTRA UV PROTECTANT to 10 -20 lineal ft of the pools vulnerable water line at a time. Then wipe dry with a folded small dry clean cloth. For ultimate protection repeat, each time the water line area is cleaned.

When you apply PBHGU UV PROTECTANT to Grill Covers, Toys, Inflatables, Spa Covers and all other vinyl material, you can extend the life, and greatly improve the appearance of these items. Just spray on and wipe dry and you will get many years of service out of your vinyl products.

•Make faded Outdoor Patio Furniture Look New

If the Metal, Resin, Plexiglas, or Plastic frames and tops are dirty, clean with POWER BLUE ® Water line & tile cleaner, (PBWLTC not for use on glass--clean glass tops with glass cleaner or soap and water), spray PBWLTC onto the surfaces, brush with Adjusta Brush® or other non abrasive cleaning pad, sponge, brush or cloth, and rinse. Let dry then Spray apply POWER BLUE ® High Gloss ULTRA UV PROTECTANT, rub in using a small sponge or cloth, then COMPLETELY dry with a clean, dry, absorbent cloth. NOTE: This product does NOT air dry.  Use a second dry cloth if necessary to finish the drying process.

•Aluminum & the Marine Environment

Anodized aluminum is a common marine material used in many ways: Supports for bimini tops & enclosures; tuna towers; frames for hatches and windshields; sail masts & booms; outriggers, ladders & other trim. Aluminum is particularly susceptible to degradation from salt air and salt water. POWER BLUE ® High Gloss ULTRA UV PROTECTANT is an excellent, super-easy way to keep aluminum looking like new and to protect from salt air & salt-water degradation. •Fiberglass Boat Hulls

Preferably when the boat is dry docked, clean the boat hull with POWER BLUE ® Water line & tile cleaner. Depending on staining and other factors additional cleaners or compounds may needed. When surface is clean and dry, apply POWER BLUE ® High Gloss ULTRA UV PROTECTANT, spray on and wipe completely dry. For superior results, after cleaning and drying, spray apply PBHGU UV PROTECTANT, Then use a variable speed power buffer (set not to exceed 1800 rpm) with a synthetic wool pad (or equivalent), spread with the buffer on low, then increase the Rpm's & buff in until dry.
